A temple with two contrasting sides, consisting of a gloomy hall dedicated to Enma, the god of hell said to judge people after death, and a bright hall adorned in gold dedicated to Kannon, goddess of mercy. A night market will be held here during the event, on Saturday and Sunday only.





Gagaku performance by Chinzei Gakuso

Chinzei Gakuso is a group of Jodo Sect monks from Fukuoka who play "gagaku," Japanese classical music performed at the Imperial Court. This is a chance to immerse yourself in the world of gagaku, music performed under the philosophy that the "sounds of gagaku help bring the tranquility of Buddha."
