“The Silent Forest Gate”
At Ichigyoji Temple, standing quietly as if embracing the calm of the city, a lush ‘forest’ appears at night. The gate serves as a barrier protecting the forest, where light and water illuminate the tranquility. Wrapped in the forest, the deer that appears at the gate silently watches over and receives the thoughts and prayers of people. The space, where light and shadow intersect, becomes a sanctuary filled with prayer and serenity.
